Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Benicia, California, on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting a large-scale onboarding project involving thousands of customer and supplier accounts. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing remote flexibility two days per week after initial training. Responsibilities: • Facilitate the onboarding of over 2,500 customer and supplier accounts by reviewing applications for completeness and accuracy. • Process account applications received through DocuSign and paper formats, ensuring all required information is included. • Update and maintain account information within the Apprise system to ensure data integrity. • Collaborate with Sales and Transportation teams to coordinate account setup and delivery routing. • Complete end-to-end account setup tasks, including data cleanup, resolving missing information, and conducting follow-ups. • Monitor new account activity and support the setup of payment systems, including Fintech applications. • Provide assistance with cash application processes as needed to improve team efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including handling customer and vendor accounts. • Strong ability to manage multiple vendor files and maintain organized records. • Proficiency in data entry with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve account discrepancies effectively. • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its application in managing financial data. • Familiarity with onboarding customer accounts and coordinating with cross-functional teams. • Experience working with financial systems and payment applications is a plus.
