Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Alachua, Florida. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to manage financial processes and ensure accurate account reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Manage accounts receivable operations, including billing, cash applications, and collections. • Process and track payments efficiently while maintaining accurate financial records. • Investigate and address issues related to payments or outstanding balances. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve financial reporting. • Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data. • Handle commercial collections and ensure compliance with company policies. • Prepare reports and summaries to support decision-making and audits. • Provide excellent customer service to resolve inquiries related to billing or accounts. • Assist with process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and identifying financial discrepancies. • Strong knowledge of billing, cash applications, and collections processes. • Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel. • Ability to handle commercial collections professionally and effectively. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients.
