Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. Responsibilities: • Process accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Reconcile accounts and maintain the general ledger to ensure financial data integrity. • Prepare regular financial reports, including aging reports and account balances. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and address payment issues. • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collections. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries. • Maintain organized and accurate records of all financial transactions. • Support accounts payable functions when needed, ensuring a seamless workflow. • Contribute to process improvements for increased efficiency in financial operations. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting role. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in property management. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. • Experience with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • A bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred but not required if equivalent experience is evident.
