Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves managing various aspects of accounts receivable, including payment processing and error resolution, while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with two days in the office and three days remote. Responsibilities: • Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. • Address and resolve payment discrepancies and errors in a timely manner. • Maintain clear communication with customers to ensure smooth payment processing and issue resolution. • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Dynamics 365 to manage and analyze financial data. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure balances are accurate and up-to-date. • Collaborate with internal teams to support billing and cash application processes. • Uphold customer service standards while handling inquiries related to payments and accounts. • Monitor accounts for overdue balances and ensure proper follow-up processes are in place. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Dynamics 365 or similar accounting systems. • Solid understanding of debit and credit principles. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and customer service abilities. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. • Experience with account reconciliation and billing processes. • Familiarity with other accounting tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is a plus.
