Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play an integral role in managing customer invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting reporting activities. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail and a solid background in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review customer invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Maintain organized customer invoice files for efficient record-keeping. • Track invoices and financial data to support year-end closing processes. • Generate quarterly financial reports and provide insights as needed. • Maintain and update monthly accrual reports to monitor work order progress. • Perform accurate data entry tasks to support accounts receivable operations. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of financial documents. • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial information. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing and tracking financial data. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis. • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. • Familiarity with year-end closing procedures and financial reporting. • Experience with accruals and managing financial records. • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
