STS Technical Services is hiring an Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing team that values process improvement, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Controller and Accounting Manager, the Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist will support customer onboarding, manage billing workflows, and drive timely cash flow collections. This is a high-impact position created to support company growth and sustain a streamlined, professional AR process.

Key Responsibilities: Communicate with customers via email and phone in a consistent, professional, and effective manner Set up and onboard new customers, including processing and maintaining credit applications Create billing schedules based on project milestones and deliverables Identify and implement process improvements within the ERP system and billing operations Perform billing analysis on jobs and ensure accuracy and compliance with contracts Coordinate closely with internal project managers and sales teams Support the month-end close process and assist with ad hoc reporting Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred Understanding of job costing and financial reporting best practices Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite Role Specifics: Full-Time | On-Site in Milwaukee, WI Direct Hire with Competitive Compensation Standard Business Hours | Monday through Friday Team & Culture: Collaborative and supportive work environment Leadership team invested in your personal and professional growth Chance to contribute to key system improvements Be part of a company that values efficiency, ownership, and long-term success About STS Technical Services:
