JSG is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accounting Clerk for a long term contract opportunity in Thousand Oaks, CA. 

The clerk interacts with the Accounting department supporting each member in different areas such as Account Receivables, Filing, Standard Operations Procedures, Credit and any other projects assigned by the Accounting Management team
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide assistance and support to the accounting department Experience working with large distributors such as McLane, Coremark, Costco Daily Counts Receivables, maintaining Receivables Aging Assist with receivables and preparation of daily deposits. Assist with credits Perform other accounting, financial or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time. High attention to detail, strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, GP accounting software and CMPRO.  Support the Accounting team with admin duties such as filing, copying, scanning, correspondence, data entry. Will track budget and collections. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education High School graduate or equivalent, some college preferred. Experience 5+ years’ experience in accounting is a plus.  Special Skills/Knowledge Proficient in GP accounting software, CMPRO and Microsoft Office Suites software Accuracy and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to execute and complete projects in a timely manner Able to work both independently and part of a team Planning, organization, and problem solving skills Pay rate $25 per hour
