Job Description

Responsible for executing Accounts Receivable activities in a manner that ensures excellent customer service delivery within the timelines stipulated in the service level agreement.  

KEY TASKS

Receive and prepare source documents to be process invoices/credit notes.Prepare and process accurate age analysis with quality comments.Process accurate tax invoices with relevant VAT calculationsProcess credit & debit notes according to the agreed business processes and policies whilst maintaining high levels of quality and accuracy.Meet all internal and external Service Level Agreements within the different Accounts Receivable functional areasAllocate payments received and clear customer accountsEffective follow-up with customers and following the Accounts Receivable escalation processPerform customer reconciliations, escalate and follow-up on any un-reconciling items. Ensure alignment with the reconciliation policyResolve all customer queries, relating to the services represented through Accounts ReceivableCalculate and raise provision for bad debts monthlyPrepare proposal for bad debts write off bi-annuallyAny other relevant tasks as and when required

Qualifications

Essential:

Grade 12BCom Accounting Degree relevant

Desired:

SAP training (accounting specific) advantageous

EXPERIENCE

1 – 2 years relevant experience in financeSound knowledge of the SARS requirements of a valid tax invoiceBasic accounting skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (excel, outlook)SAPPresentation Skills
