This role is critical in managing the full accounts receivable cycle, including the accurate and timely application of customer payments, and maintaining accurate and compliant customer master data. **Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:** + Manage daily AR activities including cash application, customer invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. + Accurately apply payments to customer accounts, ensuring alignment with remittance details and resolving discrepancies promptly. + Monitor aging reports, proactively follow up on past-due balances, and escalate collection issues as necessary. + Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure timely and correct cash posting. + Process deductions and chargebacks; coordinate resolution with internal teams and retail partners. + Assist in month-end close processes, including AR subledger reconciliations and reporting. + Own the setup, maintenance, and integrity of customer master data in ERP and financial systems. + Validate and input customer information including credit terms, billing addresses, payment terms, and contact details. + Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, sales tax certificates). + Partner with Sales Operations and IT teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new customers. + Maintain documentation and audit trails for all customer data changes. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within AR and Master Data, Order to Cash or Finance operations. CPG experience is preferred. + Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to identify trends and patterns in data. + Proficiency in using ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. The compensation band for this position is $73,800 - 110,800 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
