Accounts Receivable Analyst
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Littleton, Colorado. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by managing receivables, ensuring timely collections, and providing valuable insights into cash flow optimization. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in financial analysis and customer relationship management. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. • Analyze customer accounts and payment histories to identify and address discrepancies. • Perform cash applications and reconcile payments to maintain accurate financial records. • Manage billing functions, ensuring invoices are prepared and distributed promptly. • Monitor and report cash activity to provide insights into financial performance. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues and improve collection strategies. • Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate smooth payment processes. • Prepare detailed reports and analyses related to receivables and collections. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, including collections and cash applications. • Strong knowledge of billing functions and financial reconciliation processes. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for accounts receivable processes. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. • Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations related to accounts receivable.
