Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our client's team in Irving, Texas. This role involves managing and reconciling cash receipts, ensuring accurate application of payments, and addressing customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable processes and possess strong analytical skills to contribute to the company’s financial operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee and process cash transactions received from JPMorgan Chase banks to ensure accurate application. • Generate daily upload batches for lockbox transactions and review any exceptions. • Monitor and resolve items on the Suspense List and unapplied cash reports monthly. • Maintain and update problem lists for weekly team reviews. • Address customer inquiries and requests received through the accounts receivable inbox. • Scan live checks using the JPMorgan Chase check scanner for proper documentation. • Reconcile acquisition-related cash payments to ensure proper allocation. • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or application issues. • Prepare and process refund requests for overpayments or duplicate payments. • Complete month-end tasks to meet financial close deadlines, including processing credit card refunds. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other related software. • Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities. • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail. • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines. • Flexibility to work overtime or adjust to changing schedules as needed. • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable processes. • Familiarity with Great Plains Dynamics or similar accounting systems is a plus.
