Position: Accounts Receivable Analyst Location: Saginaw, MI Function: Finance Position Overview: The Accounts Receivable Analyst performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. Maintains contact with staff, customers and sales team. Job Responsibilities: Under general guidance, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will: + Post cash receipts, research payment discrepancies and maintain clean customer statements. + Monitor, analyze and resolve customer balances (review and work with internal and external customers on variances). + Prepare accurate and timely past due A/R reporting. + Monitor A/R Interfaces and resolve any issues. + Prepare manual billings for customers and submit for payment. + Prepare monthly adjusting Accounts Receivable journal entries accurately and timely. + Ensure effective internal controls are maintained. + Respond to internal and external audit requests to maintain compliance. + Perform other ad hoc analysis (project-based analysis). Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance + 2 years of relevant accounting work experience. + Basic understanding of accounting and internal controls + Ability to work well with others + Strong oral and written communication skills + Highly proficient in Excel spreadsheets + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
