Accounts Receivable Accountant
Due to continued company growth, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career, contribute new ideas, and play a key role in supporting our customers.

Key Responsibilities
+ Accurately post high-volume lockbox payments (ACH and check) using bank portals and ERP systems.
+ Process check deposits to the lockbox and credit card payments for daily deposits.
+ Review, interpret, and process payments with detailed remittance information.
+ Research and resolve partial payments or payments missing remittance details within 48–72 hours.
+ Maintain accurate records of payment application research.
+ Partner with sales and operations teams to resolve payment discrepancies quickly.
+ Provide backup support for other AR functions.
+ Assist the finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities.
+ Follow company policies, procedures, and accounting regulations related to billing and receivables.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
+ Minimum of two years of cash application or AR experience; construction or service industry background preferred.
+ Experience with ERP systems; Viewpoint Vista a plus.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
+ Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing, and working in a fast-paced setting with high accuracy.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
