Accounts Receivable
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable specialist to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position with a hybrid work schedule, combining onsite work Mondays through Thursdays and remote work on Fridays. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the full accounts receivable process and ensuring accurate financial operations. Responsibilities: • Handle the complete accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing and payment processing. • Apply cash receipts accurately and efficiently to customer accounts. • Reconcile accounts to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain smooth operations. • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for financial processes and reporting. • Support the transition to Microsoft Dynamics by providing expertise in accounts receivable. • Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize outstanding balances. • Prepare and deliver regular financial reports related to accounts receivable activities. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting functions. • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics NAV. • Strong skills in cash application and account reconciliation. • Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and clients. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
