This role is responsible for supporting the Procure-to-Pay Process Owner in the successful transition and operational stabilization of a newly introduced AI-based Accounts Payable automation tool within the Accounting Shared Services organization. The person will drive daily operational activities independently, work closely with AP, IT, Procurement, and other finance/business stakeholders to support the tool rollout. This person will serve as a key point of contact for operational issue resolution, process monitoring, and training delivery. The role plays a critical part in driving user adoption, change management and managing go-live and hypercare activities, and ensuring post-implementation KPIs are met and continuously improved without disruption to business operations.

 

 

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Act as a daily operational support contact for the Accounts Payable (Invoice Processing) team during the transition periodProvide hands-on operational support and coordination for the AI tool implementation, including during the go-live and hypercare periodsHandle and escalate operational issues to the PTP Process Owner as neededPrepare RCA for recurring or critical process issuesCoordinate and deliver training, onboarding, and change management activities for AP team members, Procurement, and Business Approvers.Support the PTP Process Owner / Project Owner with continuous success KPI monitoring and identification of process improvement opportunitiesContribute to the stabilization and optimization of key KPIs in the post go-live phaseEnsure that process documentation, issue logs, and feedback loops are maintained and continuously updatedServe as a liaison between the AI tool provider, internal IT, Procurement, Finance, and other relevant business stakeholdersSupporting the tool implementation globally for EMEA, US and APAC regionsDemonstrated interest in AI technologies and their application within finance processes; actively seeks opportunities to leverage AI tools to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

What You Bring:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively interacting with AP team members, cross-functional stakeholders (IT, Procurement, Finance), and leadershipSolid understanding of Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes; experience with process transitions or system implementations is a strong advantageProcess-oriented and detail-focused mindset with a proactive attitude toward identifying and addressing inefficienciesAbility to handle operational escalations and facilitate timely resolution through root cause analysis and follow-upComfortable navigating ambiguity and change; able to support transition activities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in parallel during go-live and stabilization phasesExperience with AI-enabled tools, finance automation platforms, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Oracle) is a plusDemonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver training or onboarding materials across diverse stakeholder groupsAnalytical thinking and reporting skills; able to interpret operational KPIs and suggest data-driven improvementsHigh degree of ownership, accountability, and resilience; capable of working independently while supporting a larger transformation effortCollaborative, team-focused attitude with a strong commitment to service delivery and continuous improvementProfessional English fluency, both written and spoken

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is requiredProfessional certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) is an advantage but not mandatory

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), or related finance operationsPrior involvement in system implementations, process transitions, or finance automation projects is highly preferredExperience in working within a shared services or global business services (GBS) environment is a strong plusDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Procurement, and Finance stakeholdersPrevious experience in training, onboarding, or change management activities is desirableExposure to project coordination or process improvement initiatives is beneficial, even if not in a formal project manager role
