Accounts Payable Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to oversee our accounts payable operations. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of invoices, adherence to company policies, and supports the finance team in maintaining strong vendor relationships and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing.Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and payment terms.Review and approve payment batches and reconciliations.Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve discrepancies.Maintain and improve AP processes, including 3-way matching and ERP system usage.Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.Provide training and support to AP staff as needed.Occasionally work in warehouse environments and travel as required.

Required Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.Strong understanding of invoice processing and payment terms.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage 100, NetSuite).Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ERP systems, especially Sage.Familiarity with the 3-way matching process.Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
