Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to lead and optimize the accounts payable operations in our Fontana, California office. This role involves managing a small team, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, and fostering strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the accounts payable team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processing over 700 invoices weekly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Coordinate and perform invoice coding, check runs, and ACH payments.
• Manage vendor relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis on short payments and discounts.
• Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounts payable operations.
• Utilize intermediate to advanced Excel skills to streamline reporting and analysis.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
• Lead team training and development, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a small team.
• Proficiency in coding invoices, performing check runs, and processing ACH payments.
• Strong analytical skills for researching payment discrepancies and discounts.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including the ability to work with complex data.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP Business One, is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
