Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to oversee and manage the accounts payable function for a dynamic organization in Sarasota, Florida. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual who can work independently, bring innovative solutions to the table, and handle complex vendor relationships and payment processes. Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage accounts payable resources, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments. • Handle critical vendor relationships, overseeing three-way matching processes and managing transactions. • Process accounts payable tasks directly, including coding invoices, conducting check runs, and managing ACH transactions. • Develop and implement strategies to improve accounts payable processes and resolve operational challenges. • Collaborate with managers to align accounts payable activities with organizational goals. • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. • Utilize ERP systems effectively, with a preference for familiarity with ERP or similar platforms. • Analyze and troubleshoot issues within the account's payable workflow, offering practical solutions. • Manage reporting and documentation related to accounts payable processes. Requirements • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounts payable management. • Proven ability to work independently and bring expertise to improve processes. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage disorganized workflows. • Familiarity with ERP systems highly preferred. • Knowledge of accounts payable tasks, including coding invoices, check runs, ACH transactions, and three-way matching. • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage resources and critical vendors.
