Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and optimize the accounts payable function for a nationally recognized restaurant chain. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end AP operations, manage a small team, and contribute to process improvements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full accounts payable process, including invoice coding, payment approvals, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervise and mentor two team members: a Payroll Specialist and an AP Specialist, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
• Play a key role in supporting the successful implementation and optimization of Oracle Fusion systems.
• Monitor workflows and address operational challenges, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and payroll, to ensure seamless AP operations.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of AP processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with company policies.
• Manage check runs and automated clearing house (ACH) transactions, ensuring all payments are processed efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of accounts payable activities for accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure proper coding of invoices to align with company standards and financial regulations.
• Provide hands-on support during peak periods or when resolving complex AP issues. Requirements • Extensive experience managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, payment processing, and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead a team, with prior experience managing direct reports.
• Proficiency with Oracle Fusion systems, including supporting system implementations and integrations.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and reconcile data effectively.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to AP management.
• Familiarity with check runs, ACH transactions, and coding invoices.
• Experience in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industries is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, demonstrating adaptability and proactive decision-making.
