Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Lake Forest, California. In this role, you will oversee high-volume accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. This is an onsite position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities: • Manage the processing of over 500 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. • Oversee invoice verification and compliance, including three-way matching between shipments, invoices, and charges. • Monitor and work to reduce aged accounts payable, maintaining a clear and organized workflow. • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies promptly. • Maintain detailed and accurate records of accounts payable transactions. • Assist with month-end closing procedures for the accounts payable department. • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve inquiries and discrepancies. • Perform accounts payable analysis and reporting to support financial decision-making. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including handling weekly vendor payments. • Support 1099 reporting and other regulatory requirements. Requirements • A.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software systems. • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. • Experience with accounting functions such as account coding, accrual accounting, and auditing.
