Job Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor
Job Description

Oversee the Accounts Payable process to ensure accurate application of vendor invoices against approved purchase orders and precise recording of non-purchase order invoices.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise the accurate processing of vendor invoices.Ensure proper application of vendor invoices against approved purchase orders.Accurately record non-purchase order invoices.Manage and supervise a team of 12-15 processors, with potential growth to 20.Maintain high standards of customer service within and outside the department.Participate in team meetings and trainings in Winston-Salem.Support supply chain processes and maintain familiarity with heavy PO environments.Essential SkillsMinimum seven years of computerized accounts payable experience.High School Diploma or GED.Excellent verbal communication and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Capability to work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum two years of prior leadership experience, preferred.Experience with Excel Add-ins.Experience with the person system.Patience and a positive attitude.Work Environment

Candidates must be located within one hour of Charlotte, NC, Winston-Salem, NC, Wilmington, NC, Charleston, SC, or the person, SC. The role involves infrequent travel to Winston-Salem for team meetings and trainings. The team operates within a supply chain office, making familiarity with supporting supply chain groups beneficial. Professional development is emphasized, and while micromanagement is discouraged, accountability is essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
