Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will manage high-volume invoice processing while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a paper-based workflow. Responsibilities: • Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable, handling approximately 1,000 invoices per month. • Code and review invoices to ensure proper account allocation and compliance. • Conduct weekly check runs and electronic payments in alignment with company protocols. • Serve as a backup for the Accounts Payable Manager during periods of absence. • Maintain accurate records of paper invoices and assist with ongoing efforts to streamline and automate processes. • Collaborate with the finance department to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment. • Utilize Oracle R12 for invoice processing and payment management. • Support the transition to upgraded systems and workflows as needed. • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve issues Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. • Proficiency in Oracle R12, with the ability to adapt to system upgrades. • Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including account coding and invoice management. • Experience handling high volumes of invoices in a paper-based environment. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work onsite five days a week in San Francisco, California. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. • Familiarity with electronic payment processes and weekly check runs.
