Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Title: Accounting Specialist Job Description The successful Accounting Specialist must have a working knowledge of basic accounting functions. This role supports the accounting department by performing essential accounting duties and providing administrative support. Responsibilities + File paperwork and maintain organized records. + Perform accurate data entry tasks. + Scan documents and manage digital files. + Complete mailings as required for the department. + Provide administrative support to company personnel. + Match invoices to inventory records. + Balance financial statements. + Process payments efficiently and accurately. + Record vouchers and ensure proper documentation. + Verify credit memos and edit reports to ensure batches balance before posting. + Interact professionally with vendors and suppliers. + Complete all other projects as assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. + Experience with accounts payable and general accounting practices. + Intermediate experience with ERP systems and pivot tables. + Basic knowledge of accounting principles. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with vendors and suppliers. + Effective written and verbal communication skills. + Team-oriented, capable of supporting various departments. + Strong organizational and analytical skills. + Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks. + Basic math skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
