What this job involves – Our Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for accounts payable activities in a high-volume, multi-system, energized environment within our Accounts Payable Center of Excellence located in Rosemead, CA.  The Accounts Payable Specialist’s main responsibility will be to process and enter invoices to ensure day-to-day payment obligations are met in a timely and consistent manner.  The Accounts Payable Specialist must be able to interact effectively with facility managers, Project Managers, accounting and finance staff, and vendors daily.

What this job involves:

Process various types of accounts payable transactions, including accurate data entry of vendor invoices, expense reports, ACH, and wire requestsProcess daily and weekly Accounts Payable for multiple sites and vendors, ensuring all deadlines are met in a high-volume environmentUnderstand and comply with Accounts Payable policies and proceduresMonitor and enforce compliance by employees involved in the Accounts Payable processGather the group’s processing metrics dailyEnsure that each transaction processed has appropriate approval before processing.Correspond with suppliers and respond to inquiries.Assist the site team, client, and vendors with Accounts Payable issues or questions as they arise.

Associates/ Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience (JD Edwards Enterprise One a plus)Experience interacting with vendors and communicating invoice requirementsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (experience with Access a plus) Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needsRequires two days in the office

Estimated compensation for this position:

70,000.00 – 80,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
