Description About the Role: Are you a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a knack for managing financial records and building vendor relationships? Robert Half is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role involves supporting the financial operations of a thriving organization, with the potential to convert to a permanent position. Key Responsibilities: + Review, code, and process invoices accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies. + Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies or outstanding balances. + Prepare payment runs and ensure payments are processed according to payment terms. + Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents to verify accuracy. + Perform monthly and ad hoc AP reporting, assisting in financial analysis as needed. + Maintain vendor records, including contact information and payment terms. + Address and respond to vendor inquiries professionally and in a timely manner. + Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment or processing issues. Requirements What We're Looking For: + At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role. + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms). + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. + Ability to manage a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced environment. + Familiarity with matching purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents (three-way matching) preferred. + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
