Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Morgan Hill, California. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in managing and processing invoices, payments, and account coding with accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure compliance with financial procedures while maintaining excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment approvals. • Perform account coding for invoices and transactions in accordance with company policies. • Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and ensure proper documentation. • Conduct regular check runs to process payments and address discrepancies. • Reconcile accounts payable records and resolve any outstanding issues. • Maintain detailed and organized records of all financial transactions. • Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries or payment concerns. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations. • Support audits by providing accurate and complete accounts payable documentation. Requirements • 2- 5 years of Proven experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles. • Proficiency in account coding and invoice processing. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment systems. • Ability to conduct check runs and manage payment schedules. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions. • Knowledge of financial software and tools, strong Excel and experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Recent Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
