Why This Role Matters As a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will work closely with our dynamic Accounts Payable team, directly reporting to and supporting the Senior Manager in this critical department. This role touches on every aspect of the payment cycle process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all things Accounts Payable. Key Responsibilities + Process and verify invoices and check requests accurately and efficiently. + Ensure proper routing, coding, and approvals are in place for all financial transactions. + Execute high-volume data entry and meet the demands of monthly closings. + Perform vendor and General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations with precision. + Execute full-cycle vendor payments while maintaining policy compliance. + Run audits to ensure payment accuracy and safeguard against discrepancies. + Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and internal teams. + Assist in creating month-end accrual and reconciliation documentation. + Handle purchase price variance reviews and ad hoc analyses while supporting management requests. + Prepare monthly reporting and year-end compliance tasks. + Contribute to team success through cross-functional training within the department. Opportunity for Hybrid schedule after approximately one month. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software. • Demonstrated ability to process high volumes of invoices and payments accurately. • Familiarity with automated clearing house (ACH) transactions and check runs. • Excellent skills in account coding and invoice management. • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. • Ability to adapt and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
