Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in New York, New York. This Contract-to-Permanent role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual skilled in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Responsibilities: • Process and manage high volumes of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals. • Maintain and oversee the Accounts Payable inbox, responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies. • Handle wire transfers and ensure proper documentation for all transactions. • Perform weekly invoice processing while adhering to company policies and procedures. • Prepare and post inventory-related journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting data. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency in accounts payable operations. • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting, including advanced Excel formulas. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and approvals. • Proficiency in handling high-volume invoicing with attention to detail. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and financial record-keeping practices. • Familiarity with audit processes and the ability to assist with documentation requirements. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis. • Experience with SAP or similar financial systems. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
