Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Riviera Beach, Florida. This role involves managing invoice processing, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Responsibilities: • Process purchase orders and convert them into invoices using QuickBooks Online. • Perform three-way matching by comparing purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents to ensure accuracy. • Verify and validate invoices related to inventory and distribution operations. • Code and record accounts payable transactions accurately in the accounting system. • Prepare and execute payment runs, including ACH transfers and check disbursements. • Maintain organized records of invoices and payments for auditing purposes. • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or payment issues. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial transactions. • Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts payable records. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with automated systems. • Strong understanding of purchase orders, inventory, and distribution processes. • Ability to perform three-way matching and ensure accuracy of financial records. • Skilled in coding invoices and managing account coding processes. • Experience with ACH payments and check runs. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication abilities to interact with vendors and internal teams.
