Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Haddonfield, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient processing of invoices, payments, and financial records. Responsibilities: • Process invoices by matching, batching, and coding them accurately to ensure timely payments. • Maintain and update vendor records in accounting software systems. • Manage payment cycles, including ACH transfers and check distributions. • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues. • Utilize ERP systems and Concur for expense reporting and invoice management. • Assist in auditing accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance with company policies. • Support accrual accounting processes by preparing necessary journal entries. • Generate reports and analyses related to accounts payable activities. • Provide recommendations for improving accounts payable workflows and processes. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, including matching, batching, and coding invoices. • Proficiency with accounting software systems and ERP platforms. • Familiarity with ADP and Concur for financial services and expense reporting. • Strong understanding of accounts payable functions and accrual accounting. • Experience with auditing and compliance in financial processes. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
