Description Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Huntersville, NC Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Robert Half is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Huntersville, NC. Key Responsibilities: + Review and process expense reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial records. + Manage vendor payments, including validating tax ID information, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies. + Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure all outstanding vendor obligations are resolved; identify discounts and update purchase orders as necessary. + Support the reconciliation of monthly statements and transactions to ensure accuracy in accounting records and ledgers. + Oversee petty cash, including data entry, verification of supporting documents, and accurate distribution. + Accurately calculate and report sales tax based on processed invoices. + Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: + Proven reliability and high level of integrity. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) or similar tools. + Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new accounting software systems. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in task execution. + Capacity to maintain confidential and precise financial records.
