Description Robert Half is working with a fast-paced trucking and logistics company in Escondido to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This company is known for its reliable service and operational efficiency, and they’re looking for someone who can keep their vendor payments accurate and on schedule. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and has a strong attention to detail when it comes to financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: + Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure timely payments + Reconcile purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices + Maintain vendor records and resolve payment discrepancies + Assist with month-end close and AP reporting + Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status + Support audits and compliance documentation Requirements + 2–4 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in logistics or transportation + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems) + Strong Excel skills and attention to detail + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
