Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. This is a Contract position based in Tucker, Georgia, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor management and experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and reconciliation.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate communication and resolution of any discrepancies.
• Code and process invoices accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Conduct regular audits of accounts payable processes to identify and address discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing reports and reconciling accounts.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment statuses.
• Provide recommendations for improving accounts payable processes and workflows
Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
• Proficiency in full-cycle accounts payable processes
• Strong knowledge of vendor management practices and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
