Key Responsibilities + Process a high volume of invoices, matching them to purchase orders and receipts, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. + Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with vendors, maintaining effective communication to address and resolve any billing issues. + Verify, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner. + Prepare and perform check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments. + Maintain vendor records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate. + Assist with month-end closing activities, including accounts payable sub-ledger reconciliations and accruals. + Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth workflows and support audit and compliance initiatives. + Monitor and enforce adherence to internal controls and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines. Requirements + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent experience will be considered. + Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and team members. + Proactive and resourceful approach to identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
