Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in West Jordan, Utah. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments while adhering to organizational policies and financial standards. Responsibilities: • Process invoices with accuracy, ensuring proper account coding and compliance with company policies. • Handle payment transactions via Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check runs. • Review and reconcile accounts payable records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all payable transactions. • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address and resolve payment inquiries. • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. • Monitor and improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations and company guidelines. • Provide support during audits by supplying relevant accounts payable documentation. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment handling. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check processing. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records. • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in accounts payable. • High level of organizational and problem-solving skills.
