Accounts Payable Specialist
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Hillsboro, Oregon. This contract position involves handling high-volume invoice processing and ensuring accuracy in payment workflows within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role is based onsite and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the operations of a leading company in the market. Responsibilities: • Process vendor invoices with a minimum of 40 invoices per day, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Perform three-way matching for purchase orders, shipping tickets, and invoices. • Maintain strong knowledge of purchase order systems to support invoice matching and reconciliation. • Utilize ERP systems, such as SAP, to manage accounts payable workflows effectively. • Ensure timely and accurate payment processing while adhering to company policies. • Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships. • Support reporting requirements and timecard management, as needed. • Handle tasks with efficiency and precision in a high-volume environment. • Maintain organizational accuracy while working under tight deadlines. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including high-volume invoice processing. • Proficiency with ERP systems, such as SAP, to manage workflows. • Strong understanding of three-way matching involving purchase orders, shipping tickets, and invoices. • Familiarity with purchase order systems and vendor invoice reconciliation. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting. • Excellent 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry. • Ability to manage vendor relationships professionally and resolve discrepancies. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
