Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. This role involves managing critical financial processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accuracy in payment operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service while meeting deadlines. Responsibilities: • Enter invoices manually and through workflow systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Investigate and resolve issues related to overdue invoices to maintain smooth operations. • Reconcile and process rent payments with precision and attention to detail. • Handle payment processing through checks and wire transfers, including reconciliation and recording. • Perform vendor maintenance tasks, ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate. • Review and manage travel and expense reports to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Maintain accounts payable reports and provide regular updates as required. • Build positive relationships with executive assistants and other team members. • Uphold company values of excellence, honor, and teamwork in all aspects of the role. • Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned to support departmental needs. Requirements • High school diploma required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred. • Experience with Oracle Cloud and familiarity with automated accounts payable systems is highly desirable. • 3-5 years of accounts payable experience in a financial environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Knowledge of accounts payable processing systems and 1099 reporting. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in daily tasks.
