Description We’re seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a well-established manufacturing company in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our client’s accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities: + Process invoices accurately and ensure data integrity through a three-way match procedure. + Manage a variety of accounting transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures. + Conduct timely reconciliations of accounts payable records and vendor statements. + Work independently to meet deadlines, juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Exercise confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive financial matters. + Address and resolve invoicing and payment issues with vendors to maintain strong vendor relationships. + Prepare and submit credit applications, tax exemption requests, and W-9 forms with attention to accuracy and compliance. + Support departmental operations by performing additional tasks as needed. Requirements: + 5+ years of proven experience in accounts payable/accounting. + Familiarity with accounting software such as Business Central, NV, Dynamics, Real Steel, or Great Plains is preferred. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. + An Associate Degree (AA) or Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
