Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will manage and process accounts payable transactions, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. You will reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and assist with month-end closing and financial reporting. Your role also involves maintaining organized accounts payable files and collaborating with other departments for timely and accurate payment processing. Additionally, you will provide support for audits and other financial reviews.

ResponsibilitiesManage and process accounts payable transactions.Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files.Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.Provide support for audits and other financial reviews.Essential SkillsProficiency in QuickBooks.Experience in accounts payable, including prepaid bills and understanding the difference between capitalizing and expensing payments to a vendor.Invoice processing and invoicing.Reconciliation and three-way matching.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in accounts payable.Associate degree in accounting, business, communications, or related fields.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
