Accounts Payable Specialist
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) and Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily accounting operations in our Abingdon, MD office. This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities: + Process and code invoices; verify and enter into accounting system + Review and post employee expense reports and credit card transactions + Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner + Maintain accounting records (journals, ledgers, etc.) + Handle incoming AP mail and general inquiries + Support staff and vendors with professionalism and accuracy + Assist with additional projects, including process improvement or automation efforts, as needed Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications: + 1–3 years of AP experience (ideally exposure and/or interest in process automation) + Strong attention to detail and time management skills in a fast-paced environment + Effective communicator with a collaborative, customer-service mindset + Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Adobe + Organized, dependable, and proactive team player + Exposure to, or interest in, process automation, workflow improvements, or software migration projects Why You'll Love Working With Us: We believe in taking care of our team - professionally, personally, and everything in between.
