Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in DeSoto, Kansas. In this position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate processing of accounts payable activities. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices with precision, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Perform coding of invoices to the appropriate accounts and departments. • Conduct regular check runs to maintain timely payments to vendors. • Handle invoice processing, including matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies. • Execute three-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices. • Collaborate with team members to manage weekly accounts payable tasks efficiently. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create formulas and track payable invoices. • Maintain organized and accurate records of financial transactions. • Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to accounts payable activities. • Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formula usage. • Familiarity with coding invoices and performing check runs. • Knowledge of three-way matching and purchase order processes. • Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills for vendor and team interactions. • Ability to handle weekly accounts payable responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
