Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Amesbury, MA (Hybrid – 2 days in office per week)

About the Role:

Our client, a global leader in sustainable climate solutions, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Amesbury, MA. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely while requiring just two days per week in the office. The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify and reconcile accounts payable invoices with internal controlsReconcile AP records with the general ledgerRespond to supplier and employee inquiriesProcess manual and computer-generated disbursement checksMaintain accurate accounting recordsDistribute departmental mailIdentify and resolve potential issues proactivelyPerform other AP-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in bookkeeping preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accountingStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracyProficiency with various computer systemsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication abilities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
