Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Amesbury, MA (Hybrid – 2 days in office per week)
About the Role:
Our client, a global leader in sustainable climate solutions, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Amesbury, MA. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely while requiring just two days per week in the office. The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Verify and reconcile accounts payable invoices with internal controls
+ Reconcile AP records with the general ledger
+ Respond to supplier and employee inquiries
+ Process manual and computer-generated disbursement checks
+ Maintain accurate accounting records
+ Distribute departmental mail
+ Identify and resolve potential issues proactively
+ Perform other AP-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in bookkeeping preferred
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
+ Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
+ Proficiency with various computer systems
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills
+ Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
