Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Amenia, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of invoices and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payment processes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, with potential flexibility to transition into a hybrid schedule after the initial training period. Responsibilities: • Process approximately 100 invoices weekly with precision and attention to detail. • Manage purchase orders and ensure proper coding and compliance. • Enter payment and client information into accounting software with accuracy. • Verify and reconcile account details to ensure timely payments. • Utilize Sage Intacct software to streamline accounts payable operations. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and gather necessary payment information. • Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions. • Assist with automated clearing house (ACH) transactions. • Apply advanced Excel formulas for data analysis and reporting. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related field. • Proficiency in Sage Intacct software is highly preferred. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of formulas and data manipulation. • Ability to process high volumes of invoices efficiently. • Familiarity with account coding and invoice management. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication abilities for working with internal teams and vendors. • Knowledge of ACH transactions and electronic payment systems.
