Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Taylor, Texas. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will excel in handling high volumes of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accuracy in financial data. Responsibilities: • Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency. • Ensure proper coding and entry of invoices into the accounting system. • Perform account reconciliations to verify and maintain financial records. • Manage vendor relationships, including addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies. • Handle purchase orders and match them with corresponding invoices. • Conduct regular check runs and process payments via ACH transfers. • Prepare and process Form 1099 documentation in compliance with regulations. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in handling invoice coding and account reconciliations. • Familiarity with ACH payment processing and check runs. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial data management. • Experience in vendor management, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues. • Understanding of Form 1099 preparation and compliance requirements. • Ability to manage high volumes of invoices efficiently. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
