Accounts Payable Specialist
Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our healthcare team in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations while developing your skills in accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a willingness to grow over time. Responsibilities: • Process vendor invoices with accuracy and ensure proper coding for accounts payable transactions. • Manage and monitor the accounts payable inbox, addressing inquiries and maintaining organized records. • Perform routine bank deposits and reconciliations to support financial operations. • Conduct check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions in compliance with company policies. • Utilize NetSuite software for invoice management and financial reporting tasks. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing. • Maintain thorough documentation and uphold compliance standards in all accounts payable activities. • Assist in journal entries and basic accounting tasks as needed, offering an opportunity for skill development and growth. • Support ongoing improvements in accounts payable workflows and procedures. • Partner with the accounting team to align processes with organizational goals and policies. Requirements • Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) processes and practices. • Experience with coding invoices and account coding. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs. • Working knowledge of NetSuite software and Netsuite CRM. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation. • Ability to collaborate with team members and communicate effectively. • A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities, including journal entries and basic accounting tasks.
