Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Houston (CLEAR LAKE), Texas. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in managing the complete accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in vendor management and financial processes. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accounts payable inbox and ensure timely responses to vendor inquiries. • Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice coding and payment approvals. • Manage purchase order payables and ensure compliance with company policies. • Review and process employee expense reports using Concur Expense. • Conduct month-end close activities, such as reconciliations and reporting. • Initiate payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check runs. • Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations and audits. • Utilize Epicor ERP system for tracking and reporting financial transactions. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Proficiency in processing full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice coding and payments. • Experience with ACH payments and check runs. • Familiarity with Concur Expense for managing expense reports. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reconciliations. • Ability to work with Epicor ERP or similar systems. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills for vendor and team collaboration.
