We are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of their recently acquired businesses. This role is critical in providing short-term support during an exciting transitional period while ensuring the continuation of day-to-day operations. Onsite role expected to span a duration of 3-4 months (with potential adaptability depending on business needs). Key Responsibilities + Process invoices accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service to vendors. + Collect, track, and analyze data related to inventory and trucking (proficiency in Excel is vital). + Perform inventory and trucking ticket analysis for monthly accruals. + Maintain organized accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and accounts payable files. + Assist with check distribution and ensure timely, accurate payments. Compensation will be considered in alignment with experience offered. + Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required. Skills: + Proficiency with spreadsheets (basic Excel functions like sorting, filtering, and basic formulas). + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively. + Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for vendor interaction. + Adaptability: Must thrive in a changing environment and be comfortable with updated systems (experience with construction-specific accounting software is helpful but not required).
