Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. This is a fully on-site, Contract-to-permanent position offering an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of financial processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounts payable functions and a detail-oriented mindset. Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Perform account coding and verify invoice details to ensure proper documentation. • Handle coding and entry of invoices into the system for approval and payment. • Execute Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and manage check runs efficiently. • Conduct three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to validate payments. • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and inquiries. • Maintain organized records of processed transactions and payment histories. • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports related to accounts payable. • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all transactions. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable roles. • Demonstrated proficiency in three-way matching processes. • Strong knowledge of account coding and invoice management. • Familiarity with ACH payment systems and check run procedures. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Effective communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
