Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment managing high volumes of invoices while utilizing advanced accounting tools and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a proven ability to handle complex financial transactions efficiently. Responsibilities: • Review, process, and verify invoices using a three-way match system to ensure accuracy. • Manage high-volume invoice processing tasks, handling approximately 200 invoices daily. • Perform account coding and ensure proper allocation of expenses to the correct accounts. • Utilize ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics to streamline accounts payable operations. • Reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues related to vendor payments. • Execute Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and ensure compliance with company policies. • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address inquiries and maintain positive relationships. • Support auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. • Process expense reports using systems like Concur to ensure timely reimbursements. • Assist with month-end accrual accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, with expertise in handling high-volume invoice processing. • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Microsoft Dynamics and ERP platforms. • Strong understanding of three-way match procedures and accrual accounting principles. • Familiarity with automated systems such as ACH and Concur for financial transactions. • Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to reconcile discrepancies. • Knowledge of auditing processes and regulations related to accounts payable. • Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
